We're 19 days away from Christmas, which is a completely crazy thought. Also, our baby girl turns one month old tomorrow! The balance of it all has been interesting, but honestly, not as crazy stressful as I thought. Nate has been so incredibly sweet and affectionate with her, something that's been so special to witness. I know many of you are interested in a more lengthy post on the 1-2 transition, something I plan to dive into.

I'm slowly getting back into the swing of things and while I'm not necessarily rushing, it feels good to get my creative juices flowing. It's been two weeks with having a newborn and a toddler and so far, it's gone smoother than I could have expected. The hardest part has been getting out of the house with the baby (and not even with two - Nate's been in school!), but I'm hoping it all gets easier with a little time and practice. I've also never watched so much tv in my entire life and I'm enjoying every moment of this low-key, downtime while it's here.
