New Shoes: The Fendi Colibri (In Another Color)

When I love a pair of shoes so much, I’ve been known to buy them in another color. In this case, it’s one of my favorite styles: the Fendi Colibri.

This color has been on my radar for several months and I finally bit the bullet. At this point, I’ve been wearing my black pair for several years and I knew that these would not be any different. If anything, I may like this color even more.

Why I love them so much: They’re the perfect combination of looks and comfort. I’m always a bit reluctant to speak about the comfort level of a pair of shoes because we all have a different tolerance,  but I find these to be one of the most comfortable pairs that I own. I wore them (in black) in Montreal a couple of years back and wore them for eight-ten hours a day. I have the shorter heel version in both pairs, but they also come in a flat and a higher heel. I cannot comment on the comfort of those styles since I’ve never tried them on.

Sizing:  I find that they run true to my European size. I wear an 8.5 and have these in a 39.
