Weekend Notes: November 18th

COS Cable-Knit Sweater (in a M)| Sézane Denim (I sized up 2 sizes) | Emme Parsons Boots (TTS) | BY FAR Suede Leather Bag

Happy Weekend! What is everyone up to this weekend? We have some fun plans that I’m really looking forward to.

Tonight, we have a large group dinner at one of my favorite restaurants in the city. Two of our friends moved out of NYC (to Florida) this past summer, and they’re back in town through Thanksgiving. Twelve of us, many of whom have been friends for twenty (!!!) years since college, are getting together for a fun night of great food, drinks, and even better company. Keith and I decided to take the opportunity to have a fun staycation in the city for a night.

Tomorrow, Sasha and I will see an American Girl show with two other moms and their girls. I’m excited!

a few of the BFCM (Black Friday, Cyber Monday) sales have already started, and while it can become overwhelming, I’m planning to keep my list only to my favorite retailers and items.

Let’s start with Brooklinen, which has up to 40% off some of its best items. They do have sales, but rarely with a discount this big. I’ve been lucky enough to partner with them throughout the years, and we genuinely love their bedding so much. I alternate between the Luxe Sateen and the linen, but if I had to recommend one, it would be the Luxe Sateen.

I also have to mention the U Beauty sale that has started. They offer 20% off to returning customers only once a year and it has officially begun. They have some great bundles, but if I had to pick my top three favorites, it would be: The Super Hydrator, The Return Concentrate Eye Cream & The Barrier Cream. Use code HELENA at checkout for the 20% off.

This is such a great fragrance discovery set. They include some of their best scents and I already know that I’m planning to buy at least one of them (Another 13). Makes for such a great gift!

I ordered this dress to try on and I love it on. It feels like the fall/winter update to my favorite mini version that I wore all spring and summer. For sizing reference, I wear a medium in both.

I made these turkey burgers last night and they came out so good. I didn’t have any onion powder seasoning, so I used a finely chopped red onion.

Have a wonderful weekend!
