Three quick things:1. This cashmere wrap is one of the best things I own. Aside from being an ultra-luxe, oversized scarf, it also serves as a blanket, which makes for the perfect airport companion. It’s not cheap, but I can assure you, it’s something that will be worn forever.
2. Brainstorming on what to be for Halloween. Are you guys dressing up? If so, as what?

I hated Gone Girl… none of the characters are likable and I correctly predicted the outcome of the story after the first couple chapters. Even so, still curious about the movie because of who's in it.
For Halloween, I went to ASOS's sale section. I can always find costume ideas there. I'm going as Robin Sparkles (from the tv show How I Met Your Mother).

October 21, 2014Love the look! I have to tell you that you have inspired me to invest in my very first pair of manolo blahnik bb pumps. I ordered the black suade from NM and I hope I can style them as well as you! I own a few Manolos but they are so fancy, I rarely get to wear them 🙁 ( like my swan pump in white from my wedding) I'd love to see if you have suggestions for dressing down an incredibly fancy shoe… In all I wanted to thank you as you've inspired me to invest in timeless classic pieces versus the fashion forward loud pieces that I will only be able to wear on occasion.
To answer your question… Gone Girl, THE BOOK is amazing! It has a slow start, but it becomes a nail biter and I highly suggest you read it. I also dragged my hubby to watch the movie with me and aside for Ben Affleck being my major crush (shhh!) I was not impressed.
Halloween costume: each year we throw a Halloween party with a theme. This years theme is super heros , so I chose to be cat woman (becasue lets face it -this is probaby the last time I will be able to wear a latex black outfit due to us "trying" for a baby- so "farewell skinny waist")) and my hubby will be joker 🙂 Hope this helps!
