I love the holidays for many reasons and intimate parties with cocktails are high on that list. In all honestly, I will find any excuse to get together with my closest friends, especially when it involves getting dolled up.

In preparation for the holidays, I’ve teamed up with Grand Marnier  to share a recipe (found below) and some holiday tips. I had way too much fun with this!

Style Tip #1: Turn up a holiday look with a bright lip or nail (or both!).  It instantly dresses up any outfit and I find it to be equivalent to any piece of statement jewelry.

Style Tip #2: I love party dresses, especially if it involves a drop waist. It’s flattering on so many different body types without ever feeling constricting.

Party Etiquette Tip: I love adding a personal touch and bringing my favorite dessert to a party. A few days before picking it up, I like to get in touch with the host and ask them if they’re okay with this. This not only shows respect to the person throwing the party, but it also allows them to plan the rest of the dessert menu accordingly, especially if they were planning to make something.

Scarlett Spirit

 (per glass)
1 splash of Grenadine
Juice of 1/2 lime
5 oz. Champagne
Fresh raspberries
In your glass (you can use also use a champagne flute), pour a splash of grenadine, the Grand Marnier Rasberry Peach and squeeze 1/2 a lime. Sir and top it off with cold champagne and a few raspberries.

Cheers!
