After my trip to London with TONI&GUY Hair Meet Wardrobe, I came home for a few days and then went to Paris. It was my first time in the city in twenty years, so essentially, I say it was my first time there. Coming fresh off of New York Fashion Week and then London Fashion Week, my mind was in a certain zone and I really got to see the fashion/hair/beauty differences with all three mega cities.

It’s often said that Parisians, especially Parisian women, have a certain je ne said quoi about them and I could not agree more. Many of the women were so effortlessly chic, it’s almost hard to believe until you witness it for yourself. I would catch myself thinking “wow, look at her..” a dozen times throughout my day. For the women who really “spoke” to me, I noticed an overall trend: their hair was a bit classic, but polished, but always in a non fussy way and the outfits always consisted of something that would be in style now or in 15 years from now: blazers, trenches, a fitted trouser or jean and an amazing handbag or shoe.
Here (while in Paris), I wanted to embody just that: a look that was a bit classic, yet not fussy. I  opted for a favorite of mine, a sleek low ponytail. I finished it off with the Medium Hold Hair Spray to keep everything in place. I paired that look with the ultimate classic piece: my beloved fitted black turtleneck and for a little kick, a pleated leather skirt. A few key pieces, minimal accessories and I was ready to go. It’s amazing to think what a big part our hair plays in our overall head-to-toe look. If I wore this outfit with a different hairstyle, like loose waves, it would give this entire look a completely different vibe. 
When you choose your outfits, do you think about the hair you’re going to wear along with it? For me, it’s often used as one of my key outfit components.
