Warm Weather Favorites: Skincare & Makeup

With the warmer weather right around the corner, I start to slightly tweak my skincare and makeup routine. Below are my current favorites:

Warm Weather Favorites: Skincare & Makeup

1. Tan-Luxe Bronzing Drops

Out of all of the tanning drops and sprays that I’ve tried, I always come back to tan-luxe. I find it the most natural and it never fails to add a pep in my step. Whenever I’m feeling particularly less attractive, this never fails to help. I get the light/medium and add 2-3 drops into my nightly cream or my morning SPF.

2. Supergoop! Glowscreen

My other favorite for a glowy finish with no white cast. I typically mix a pump of the InnisFree and a pump of this.

3. InnisFree SPF

I randomly discovered this during the last Sephora sale and it’s one of my top discoveries. It’s light-weight, yet still moisturizing; it offers great sun protection and you simply cannot beat the $15 price tag.

4. SriVectin SD Advanced Plus Intensive Moisturizer

I really like this moisturizer on my neck and during the weeks/months when I need to prolong my botox. It’s not a miracle, but I’m convinced it softens my lines.

5. Tatcha The Dewy Skin Cream

My tried and true; It’s simple, in the best possible way. Moisturizing and absorbs beautifully. I’ve repurchased it over 10x and always stock up on at least two during the Sephora sale.

6. Summer Fridays Lip Butter Balm

Since Summer Fridays revamped their lip butter formula, it’s become one of my most reached for lip balms. I love it so much and often alternate it with the LANEIGE Lip Sleeping Mask and Tatcha The Kiss Lip Mask. Not sure which is my favorite, but I enjoy having the variety and love them all kind of equally.

1. Saie Slip Tint

Out of all of them, this is the best tinted moisturizer that I’ve tried. It’s moisturizing without being greasy, gives a lightweight coverage that actually blurs imperfections and offers a nice amount of sun protection. For reference, I wear shade #3.

2. Benefit Cosmetics Brow Setter Gel

I’ve repurchased this brow gel so many times. Keeps my brows in place without feeling crunchy.

3. Saie Sun Melt Bronzer with Brush

Sun Melt has reintroduced me to bronzer and its beautifully dewy (rather than powdery) formula cannot be beat. I love it with their buffing bronzer brush. I wear shade light.

4. Lawless Make Me Blush

This blush applies beautifully and the color that I got, Angel Suede, reminds me of Nars Orgasm but without the shimmer.

5. Bobbi Brown Cream Eyeshadow

These are the best when you want a simple, non-intimidating application, yet that still deliver a gorgeous wash of color. I’ve never used a shadow that was so impossible to mess up, but gave such pretty results. My favorite colors are Golden Bronze and Golden Pink.

6. Hourglass Unlocked Mascara

Tubing mascara has been an absolute game changer for my eye shape. No more raccoon eyes and the ability to actually wear mascara on my lower lashes. I’ve tried a bunch and the Hourglass is one of my favorites for a more dramatic lash. My other favorite is from Thrive and I often mix them together.

7. Westman Atelier Lit Up Highlighter

I tend to prefer a cream highlighter to a powder one and this one remains my holy grail. The texture is so beautiful and gives the most natural look. I have Lit and Nectar and while I love both, Lit  is my #1.

8. Saie Glowy Super Gel

Another Saie favorite that creates the most luminous glow. If I’m planning to be in the sun all day, I use the above combo (Glow Screen + InnisFree), but on the days/nights when I’m not loading up on SPF, I use a pump of this (I love the Starglow color)  in my foundation (typically Armani Luminous Glow in shade 5.1).

9. Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer

Another tried and true favorite. Throughout the years, I’ve experimented with several others and ultimately, always come back to this one.
