Hope your weekend is off to a good start! Last night, I started watching the new Darren Star show ‘Emily in Paris.’ I’m only a few episodes in, but it looks like it will be a fun show to watch and I typically love everything Darren Star (Sex and the City & Younger). It’s light enough with fun fashion, which is just what I, and the rest of the world, needs right now.
Tonight, I’m heading to an outdoor comedy club with a few girlfriends. Not sure what that’s going to be like, but I’m pretty excited!

I also don’t understand why New Yorkers say that their city is the world’s greatest city to live in. What is it about New York that makes it a stand-out above all other world cities? I am curious and would love know. Although, cuisine wise, I think, Melbourne City Australia has the most diverse cuisine. One can choose from traditional Italian, Greek, Croatian, Spanish, Lebanese, Korean, Japanese, Chinese, Malaysian, Indian, Singaporean, Thai, Ethiopian, Israeli, Yemeni, South American, Persian, Vietnamese, Turkish, French, Taiwanese, Indonesian, Danish, Polish, Irish, Burmese, Sudanese, Native Australian Aboriginal. And, I have probably forgotten some as Melbourne is a very multicultural city. It is also my home city.

Hi Sel,
Hope all is well on your end! Well, of course I am biased and I’m sure many people will say that and come from a biased place, but for me there truly is no place like New York. The food, the arts, the endless inspiration, the culture, the people watching, broadway, restaurants, the fashion. Also, if you’re someone who works hard enough, you can really make anything out of yourself. Of course right now NY is in a delicate place with the pandemic and it’s different than the NY many know and love, but I know it will bounce back.
I’ve been to Australia and Melbourne and I agree, the food is out of this world! Probably the best I’ve ever had in my life. Cannot wait to visit again.
