Combat Boots For Every Budget

Over the weekend, I shared a birthday present that I got myself: a pair of Chanel combat boots. I’ve been admiring them (from afar) for several years, but never wanted to take the financial plunge. But as the years went on and now, as a soon-to-be mom of two, I’ve started wearing more “sensible footwear,” if you will. To sum up, I ended up trying them on and absolutely loving how they look and feel. Combat boots have been around for decades, so I know they’ll always be a classic. I mean, firstly, I wore Doc Martens in middle school!

PS: Doc Martens still look incredibly cool on so many people, but I was looking for a pair that was just a tad less grungy.

With that being said, I know the pair I got is a crazy splurge and not in everyone’s budget, that is to say. There are so many styles out right now, but I wanted to edit my list down the pairs that really caught my eye or that I’ve seen styled in person.

ONE | TWO | THREE | FOUR | FIVE | SIX

(1): Sam Edelman Jennifer Studded Combat Boot ($170)

(2): Jeffrey Campbell Gamin Lace Up Boots ($170)

(3): Vince Cabria Lace-Up Boot ($395)

(4): Rachel Comey Dame Boots ($475)

(5): Aquatalia Orianna Combat Boot ($550)

(6): Stuart Weitzman McKenzee Combat Boots ($595)

I am so excited to see this on the blog today! I was just thinking man I love those Chanel boots but not justifiable for me right now and then you go and do the research for some super cute and less expensive alternatives!! Thank you!! Love these options! 🙂

I do love your boots and think they look great with everything. Saw you with them in a dress on InstaStories and it looks soooooo good! Definitely cool mom of almost 2 status!!

I’m doing a master bathroom and closet renovation right now, so I can’t justify the Chanel Combat Boots. But they are GORGEOUS. My girlfriend just got them. I went to Saks to try them on, but sadly they didn’t have my size. I saw the Aquatalias and tried them on. They are super cute, incredibly comfortable and a good price, too. It was Friends and Family! I got the Aquatalias and am happy with them. When I saw your post today with your “alternatives” and saw the Aquatalias made the cut, I knew I made a good choice. Thank you for being so informative and for your honest reviews.

Love this post! The last time o got a pair of combat boots I wore them to the ground! Then they started letting on water to I had to part ways with them and I I haven’t invested in a new pair. But the Chanel ones are to die for! The quilting adds the perfect feminine touch to them. I adore! Maybe I’ll put these on my birthday wishlist? Hmmmm Lolol

These are all adorable. I feel like classics like combat boots never really go out of style. My faves are those Sam Edelman riveted ones (swoon!)

I had been thinking about a combat boot but I still wanted to keep it somewhat timeless. I really like the styles you pulled. Thanks for sharing and cheers to you in the New Year!
