Motherhood: The Things I’m Currently Loving for Nate

It’s been a while since I’ve done a motherhood post and this time around, I wanted to jump into some of our absolute favorite things. From skinny jeans to the little v-necks that he wears, to his table and chair set.

Motherhood: The Things I’m Currently Loving for Nate

Burts Bees Quilt

I’ve been on the hunt for a fall/winter blanket and after reading countless reviews, I ended up going with this one. It’s thick and cozy but breathable at the same time. And as a bonus, it’s easy to throw in the machine.

V-Neck Tees

My love for a good v-neck tee does not just end with me. They’re also a wardrobe staple that I love to have in Nate’s closet. These are the best that I’ve found and I love that they come in a 3-Pack of white, grey and navy. Nate currently wears a 24M but we’re about to upgrade to a 2T.

Skinny Jeans

Zara is always our go-to for skinny jeans. I love that they’re skinny, but also stretchy enough that Nate always seems very comfortable in them. I have them in a variety of washes and always get new sizes once he grows out of them. We found that Zara runs very big, so he’s currently wearing an 18-24M in most Zara pieces, including denim.

Chuck Taylors

I don’t know about you guys, but I just love toddlers in little converse sneakers. We have the lace versions, which are much easier to get on after several wears. If laces and toddlers aren’t your thing, these slip-ons are so easy and one of my go-to pairs for him.

BABYZEN YOYO

We have two travel strollers: the BABYZEN YOYO and the Mountain Buggy; and while both are really great, the YOYO is a better ride. It’s smoother, more comfortable and looks a little better in design. However, it’s pricey at $500 so if that is a a bit too steep for you, I would 100% recommend the Mountain Buggy. It’s a great stroller but a step down from the YOYO, in my opinion.

Modern Table and Chairs

One of the #1 things I get asked about. A little more expensive than some other brands but we absolutely love it. He uses it daily and it actually looks good in our home. Win win!

Planetbox Lunchbox

I purchased this lunchbox for Nate after seeing a few of my favorite motherhood accounts using it. It’s eco-friendly, easy to clean (I throw in dishwasher) and something I know we’ll be using for years to come.  The food does not stay piping hot, but rather, warmish. They come in a variety of sizes and I also added on some car magnets for fun.

Cardigan Sweaters

There is nothing I love more than seeing Nate in a little old man sweater. I think it’s the cutest thing in the world, especially when paired with skinny jeans and a cool sneaker. I don’t love GAP for everything when it comes to toddler clothes, but I always buy Nate a few of their sweaters. We currently love this one & this one, and I am absolutely dying over this and this.

Hair Gel

Because I like to keep Nate’ hair on the longer side, a little bit of hair gel has become one of our staples. I alternate between two: Roseberry kids gel and my husbands Aveda, which I love! Obviously, the Aveda is not marketed towards kids, but I appreciate that it’s 100% natural and free of any yucky ingredients. Definitely on the pricier side, but considering I use a pea-size amount, it lasts forever.

Winter Coat

This year, I got him this puffer. We find it warm, but not too bulky. For sizing reference, Nate wears an 18-24m. Zara runs big!

Mess-Free Paints

These have been a huge hit in our home and the best part, they’re not messy!

Love this post! Thanks for sharing. Question… do you ever have any issues with the chairs tipping over with the little table? I have been looking for something for my son and I love this design, but some reviews on a similar set warned that the chairs tip. Thanks so much!

I just bought a new rug for winter. It’s soft and fleecy on one side, and a little more textured on the flip side. I absolutely love it. It’s my new favourite sensory thing
