Several weeks ago, a couple of the girls and I escaped the city and took a weekend trip out to Woodstock, NY. We rented an airbnb with the most scenic views and after doing a bit of exploring around their quaint little town, we went back home, got the fire going and indulged in hot chocolate and s’mores. I packed a few sweaters, jeans and the coziest pair of UGG boots. My friend teased me that my uniform for the weekend was “cabin chic,” which I didn’t mind rolling with.
City escapes are my favorite way to decompress both mentally and physically and even though I can’t imagine not living in one of the most bustling cities in the world, it can sometimes get to be quite overwhelming. The getaways are practically essential for your mental well being!
