The other day I was looking at the garden party images of Stella McCartney’s Resort/Spring 2011 collection and something about it was just so fresh and uplifting. The collection was heavy on botanical prints and tailored jackets in colors like salmon, azure and white. And although her clothes are not completely my style (although I adore some pieces), I can fully appreciate how beautifully her designs come to life.
So the other day when I was in H&M, I spotted this salmon colored blazer that i needed to have. I wore it yesterday and although I did not want to wear it as softly as she shows it, it’s the perfect color for the warmer season. I’ll upload my images later but here are a few of the salmon and blush colored styles from her collection that inspired my purchase.

You know… I used to have a blazer just like this when I was younger. I think it was like a pinkish color, I don't remember. I never wore it because I absolutely hated it! But I am sure if I had it now, I would wear it all the time haha. Amazing how things change over time and how so many things come back into style over and over again.
