Today I’m only re-wearing pieces that you’ve seen on the blog before. There’s no doubt that I like to spend money on nice clothing and accessories. I’ve been wired that way since my very first job at 15, selling hot dogs from a truck on Long Island. If my parents refused to buy me something, I’d buy it myself. I was all about getting that paycheck so I can buy the newest pair of Keds, or a new Kate Spade bag (my first designer bag – I felt so proud!), but obviously, some things have changed. I still get excited about getting a new item I’ve been coveting for so long, but now, it’s about investing in pieces that I’ll wear over and over again. Sure, I’ll shop at H&M or Zara for clothing that I’ll be over in a season, but for the most part, if I’m spending a decent amount of money, it’s always about cost per wear. And hence my love for shoes and handbags!
