Lately, more than ever, I’ve been having the urge to redecorate. I’ve been reading a ton of interior design books and magazines, spending too much time on pinterest and basically, trying to find home inspiration wherever I go.  This process can certainly be overwhelming, but slowly, I’ve started to really pinpoint and understand what my interior style is.

Personally, I’m completely drawn to the above images and find them to be strong starting points before jumping into the process.  I want our home to feel lived in and cozy, a place you want to curl up with a good book and a hot cup of coffee. I want it to be full of character with pieces from our travels and special things we’ve collected throughout the years. I also love the idea of having our books and Keith’s records displayed throughout. It gives the home such a personal feel and really says a lot about who we are.
Oh and while we’re on the topic of homes, check out my friend, Lauren’s incredible New Orleans apartment. I spent half the weekend (we went to Nashville together) bouncing decorating ideas off of her and she got me even more amped for the process!
