Mika, our Wheaten Terrier girl and Pete, our Mini Schnauzer guy! Got this couch from Home Goods last year and probably moving it to the nursery. Even though it looks light, the material is very durable and has yet to get dirty, dogs and all. Throw is from Anthropologie.  Pillows from Anthro, Home Goods and World Market. Ottoman (sadly, no longer available) is from West Elm. Rug: Lulu & Georgia. Wicker Basket is another Home Goods Find (I spend wayyyy too much time there).

Lucite Nesting Tables: Flea Market Find | Planner: Kate Spade | Boots: Chanel | Bag: Saint LaurentAs some of you know, Keith and I moved into our home a little over two months ago. We’re still in Brooklyn and the #1 question that people kept asking, concerned I’d have to change my blog name…ha! We went from a a 850 square apartment to an actual home, so the decorating process has been something we’ve been having so much fun with.

As of now, we’ve only concentrated on the main floor: dining room, living room and kitchen and while we still have so much to do downstairs, we’re slowly making our way upstairs and going to start tackling the closet, our bedroom and the nursery. Will definitely be sharing those photos through the process!
Some of the pieces, like the couches and rug, came from our old place, but we’re currently in the process of shopping around for a new couch.
For now, here are a few pics that you may have seen on instagram. We wanted the style to be cozy, with both some rustic and glam elements. The color scheme is similar to how I like my wardrobe: neutrals, loads of textures with a few pops of color!
