Glamour

Silk Jumpsuit: Parker (here’s the incredible holiday version) | Coat: DVF | Belt: Nicholas | Clutch: Vintage Chanel | Lipstick: MAC Pink Nouveau |
If there were a few words to describe my style (or at least the styles I love), glamourous would be one of them. It’s really no surprise that Kate Moss, Rachel Zoe and Michelle Pfeiffer’s Scarface character are three of my biggest style inspirations. The word glamour can certainly mean different things to different people, but for me, I think about silk jumpsuits, gold accessories, and oversized sunglasses (even though I’m wearing aviators here!)
In the last few months since working with TONI&GUY Hair Meet Wardrobe, I have really began to understand just how big of a role our hair plays in our overall head-to-toe look. In looking to freshen up my hair post wedding, I cut off a few inches and instantly felt fresher and more glamourous. For my outfit, I was going for a modern meets 70’s glam, so a silk jumpsuit and a black on black look felt appropriate (also, this is slightly reminiscent of the Glamour look I styled where Global Ambassador Mark Hampton created a retro 70’s hairstyle, don’t you think?)
For my hairstyle, I prefer to have day old hair to keep the waves together. It always depends on your hair texture, but day old hair always seems to work best (if not, spritz a little of the TONI&GUY Cleanse Dry Shampoo into your roots for a refreshing and added volume feel). Using a 1″ inch  barrel curling iron, I wrapped 1″ sections of my hair around the barrel. After your head is curled, finish it off with my new favorite hairspray, the TONI&GUY Glamour Firm Hold (it’s seriously the best, light on the mist and smells amazing!) I also added a pinch of the TONI&GUY Glamour Volume Plumping Whip on the curls for extra body while keeping flyaways at bay.
This is one of my ideal go-to glamourous looks just in time for the holidays!
You can also pop into a Target store to check out all the collections from TONI&GUY: GlamourCasual, Classic and Creative. I’ve heard through the grapevine, there may even be some amazing deals and specials for the collections this holiday season!
