Anyone who knows me, can attest to how I attribute many things in my life to growing up with Russian immigrant parents, Like…my unconditional love for high heels, sour cream, beets and the ballet. But more than anything, it’s my love and appreciation for the arts. Immigrating to another country comes with many challenges, ones I’ll never fully understand, but no matter what my parents life or financial situation was, I was constantly being dragged to the theater, the ballet and every museum the city had to offer. I say dragged because as a 7 year old little girl, that’s what it  felt like, but it’s only as a young adult when I realized what an incredibly positive impact that had on my life. Surrounding yourself, or your children, around art is one of the greatest gifts in life.

So of course, I’m thrilled to be serving on the Dance Party Committee for Brooklyn Museum’s Annual Artists Ball. On April 16th, I’ll be co-hosting (along with KeikoBobby and with Keith by my side), the dance party from 10PM-1AM, and you’re invited! Proceeds from the Brooklyn Artists Ball support the education programs and exhibitions of the Brooklyn Museum. I hope you’re able to join what’s going to be a fun night for a wonderful cause! Arts + a dance party? I mean…. doesn’t get better than that. You can buy your tickets here and please let me know if you’re able to come. Would love to meet you!
