Beauty: Three Products I am Loving

Nécessaire Beauty Products, Body Lotion, Body Wash, Helena of Brooklyn BlondeThree beauty products/ranges that I’ve been absolutely loving! A newish range of body products, the foundation that I’m about a decade late on and a less than $10 illinunizer that is a dream.

Nécessaire:

In this case, it’s the full range rather than just one product. What I love about Nécessaire is that the products are straight-to-the-point, but wrapped up in a super chic, minimalistic packaging that look great in our bathroom. Rather than offering an overwhelming range of a ton of products, they focus on three: a body cream, a body wash and  *cough cough* a sex gel.

Founded by Into the Gloss co-founder Nick Axelrod and Estée Lauder veteran Randi Christiansen, the products are pH-balanced, full of quality ingredients and free of parabens, sulfates and phthalates. The only downside, Keith loves them as much as I do, so they’re going rather quickly.

Armani Luminous Silk Foundation, Favorite Beauty Products, Helena of Brooklyn BlondeArmani Luminous Silk Foundation:

Well, I’m rather late to the party, aren’t I? I feel almost silly adding this because I know that a lot of you already use it or have tried it. In my defense, I’ve tried this years ago, but this was long before they had my color-match. Since then, I just relied on my trusty YSL Touche Eclat. In fact, the Luminous Silk reminds me of the Touche Eclat a lot, but it’s even lighter, which I absolutely love. I don’t wear foundation on most days, but when I do, I don’t want to look like I’m wearing it. I know that’s an obvious statement, but 99% of foundations are way too heavy for my liking.

This one is like natural skin, but better. It’s light, silky and if you do prefer a more medium coverage, it’s definitely buildable. I’m very impressed! For reference: my color is 4.25.

Flower Beauty Liquid Illuminizer, Beauty Products, Helena of Brooklyn Blonde

Flower Beauty Liquid Illuminizer:

One of my very favorite liquid illuminizers that I’ve tried! Admittedly, I was very skeptical at first. I’m definitely a bit (or a lot)  of a beauty snob. So when I found out that the range was sold at Walmart, I didn’t think it would be “up to my standards.” I know that sounds awful, but hey, it’s the truth. Well, I was proven wrong. It creates the most beautiful, natural glow. It’s super liquidly, so you only need a tiny bit, but I love how easy it is to spread, without it getting settled in one area. For color reference, I use champagne shimmer.
