I’ve been blogging for a long time now and in all these years, there are certain collaborations that I look back on and think “I cannot believe I got to work with them!” High on that list was getting to work with one of my favorite beauty brands of all time, Philosophy, on a campaign to launch their new dry shampoo in my signature scent, Amazing Grace. I’ve written about them here and here and for anyone that knows me, can attest to the fact that I’ve been using everything from the line for as long as I can remember.
When they approached me to help launch their new dry shampoo, I almost fell out of my seat. The shoot ended up falling on my birthday, the best birthday gift I could ask for, and we headed out to an incredible house out in the Hamptons for a full day of shooting.
For those of you who’ve never smelled Amazing Grace, I should probably tell you why I love it so much. Whenever I use anything from the collection, I get compliments. I always say that it smells like clean skin, but better. It’s beautifully subtle and without sounding cheesy, always puts me in a good mood. My go to routine always includes using their shower gel, followed by their body emulsion and layering their EDT perfume on top. Now that they’ve added a dry shampoo into their line, I promise you all, it will be the best smelling dry shampoo you’ll ever use. It smells SO GOOD, like clean fresh florals, and does a beautiful job at refreshing day two (or three!) hair.
HOW TO USE: shake well before use. spray two to three inches away from hair, focusing on the roots to provide extra volume and texture. Wait a few seconds, then gently rub in with your fingers or brush through.

I’m looking forward to trying this product. I haven’t worn Amazing Grace for a few years now, but use Philosophy shower gels to make my days feel “right.” When I wore Amazing Grace, my nieces and nephew would greet me with hugs and then say, “you smell so nice.”

I haven’t bought either of these Philosophy
products and won’t buy ANY since Coty
bought the company. I purchased both
scents as gifts for friends and myself
Christmas 2016, in spite of reading
hundreds, and I mean hundreds of very
negative reviews concerning the scent
being completely gone within an hour or
so. I was shocked to find these reviews
to be accurate!! I layered the perfumed
body lotion with the spray and it was literally
gone!! I had to call the friends that I had
given these products to and ask if they
had the same experience and they had.
I was embarrassed and had to return ALL
of the products!! When I called customer
service, as I expected, they assured me
that nothing about the fragrance has changed.
Do they think all of the unsatisfied customers
are stupid! At first I was told I could only
get other product, not a refund!! I told
them that I will no longer be using ANY
Philosophy products, and I used many as
obviously the quality control is seriously
lacking. Read the reviews before buying
what used to be these beautiful
scents!! Don’t go through ordering, calling,
waiting almost 2 weeks to get a pre paid label
and then 3 – 4 weeks (really) for a refund.
This company is a joke!!
