The Show We’re Watching, A Few Launches & My New Bag:

The Show We're Watching, A Few Launches & My New BagHappy March!

This morning, we woke up to more snow and at this point, I think we’re all ready for some spring sunshine. Although, to be completely fair, this winter hasn’t been too bad and it feels like we just celebrated Christmas. On another note, Keith and I just started watching The Assassination of Gianni Versace and it is so good. Have any of you seen it? Other than some TV binging, we have plans to shoot two projects and visit our friends who recently bought their first home in New Jersey!

The Show We’re Watching, A Few Launches & My New Bag:

CYBEX, a German brand of strollers, carseats and carriers, just launched a collection with supermodel, Karolina Kurkova. I went to the event last night to see the collection in person and it is absolutely gorgeous! If you are living or visiting NYC, it’s being exclusively sold at the 10 Corso Como store at the Seaport District. The store itself is beautiful and is curated with some of the coolest brands! Highly recommend checking it out. In general, The Seaport District changed so much from when I was younger. Now, there are many places to grab a drink, a cocktail or glass of wine and spend a couple of hours just walking around.

More things that I think you will like:

Speaking of events, this past week I got to hear Charlotte Tilbury speak about her new ‘The Icon’ palette. She showed us how to wear this palette both wet and dry and I’m pretty excited to start playing around with it! In addition to her new launches, she shared her can’t-live-without-favorites and two of the products I’m most excited to try are the award winning Highlighter Wand and the Hollywood Flawless Filter. I know they’re not new products, but they’re new to me! Have any of you ever tried?

I’ve been eyeing this burgundy colored STAUD bag and finally got it. I’ve been wanting a wine colored bag for quite a bit and surprisingly, it fits quite a bit!

A quick trick to making grocery store flowers look way fancier.

I made this sun dried tomato and kale pasta last week and it is one of the best things I’ve tasted. So easy and so, so good.

According to best-selling authors, these 8 books are most recommended to read this Spring.

Working from home with kids in the house? These co-working spaces for parents might be worth considering.

Recently added into my cart from Shopbop: this jumpsuit for an upcoming event, these pants that come in three colors (I got the white) and another pair of these mini hoops.

Here’s what the set of “Titanic” would look like if it were set in 2019.

Loving this color for Spring!

How cool that it came out with a movie now about the assassination of Gianni Versace now, when the incident first happened in the mid Summer of 1997. I was following along with the news day and night about the killer, it was so interesting and exciting to watch it unfold live.
    Happy Friday to you Beautiful!

    Hi Helena,

Yes, the Gianni Versace mini series was excellent! I think it flew under the radar because I didn’t know a single person who watched it. I believe the actor playing Versace won an Emmy for his performance.

I’m on season 2 of Get Shorty and it’s super entertaining. Highly recommend!

Meanwhile, I’m hoping you can do a fraxel follow up soon…before and after pics perhaps?

    Enjoy the weekend,

The Assassination of Giani Versace was amazing! The actor who’s playing the killer is freaking amazing! All those movements, changes of mood, he rocked this role out. I hope he got some awards for that.

I really need to watch that then, everybody’s talking about it and I did study fashion so it seems very up my alley haha I’ve been looking for a jumpsuit for a while and the one you linked from Shopbop is so pretty, I wish it was in a different colour though, I’m just gonna keep looking.
