A couple of weeks ago, I shared my love for my Nespresso Vertuoline Evoluo machine. We’ve had one in our house for years and it’s just one of those things I wouldn’t want to be without.

Now that the holidays are here, one of my favorite ways to celebrate is by getting creative with my coffee drinks. These two are my favorite recipes. Whether you’re entertaining in good taste with friends and family or indulging in a decadent drink at home alone, you can experience a cup above with these. They’re super easy, but always a crowd pleaser!

HOMEMADE PEPPERMINT MOCHA LATTE

INGREDIENTS
what you’ll need:
1 Capsule of Nespresso Limited Edition Swiss Chocolate coffee (my new fav and only available for a limited time)
1 Tablespoon of Cocoa Powder
Frothed Milk using the Aeroccino+ milk frother
Whipped Cream
Peppermint Dust Sprinkles.

INSTRUCTIONS
Mix the Nespresso coffee with the cocoa power. Add some of the frothed milk (I don’t use much, maybe 2-3 oz.) and top off with some whipped cream, peppermint powder and enjoy!

HOMEMADE GINGERBREAD LATTE

INGREDIENTS
what you’ll need:
2 capsules of your favorite espresso; I like the Voltesso Grand Cru
2 tablespoons gingerbread flavored syrup*
1/2 cup milk, steamed using the Aeroccino+ milk frother
Whipped Cream
Cinnamon
Gingerbread cookies

*Side note: You could also make your own gingerbread flavoring by combining 1/4 teaspoon of ground ginger, 1/4 teaspoon of ground cinnamon, 1 cup of milk, sweetener to taste and whisking all these ingredients over a very low heat. 

INSTRUCTIONS:
Combine espresso, gingerbread flavored syrup and steamed milk. Stir, add whipped cream and sprinkle cinnamon on top. Finish off with a gingerbread cookie.

If you’re making your own gingerbread flavoring. Combine that mixture with the espresso and follow the rest of the instructions.
