Nate Turns Three & Our Weekend Plans

Ah! I’ve missed writing and sharing my Friday posts so much. Who knew they’d become some of my favorites.

This past week, we celebrated Nate’s 3rd birthday. He requested dinosaurs, so we took a trip to the Museum of Natural History, followed by ice cream and giving him the one present he asked for, a new scooter! Him turning three is so bittersweet. I’ve been loving every stage, each one better than the last (most times), but it’s insane how fleeting time is. Tomorrow, we’re throwing him a party at a children’s museum with all of his little friends and a firetruck cake. I cannot wait! It’s possible I’m more excited than he is.

Aww I can imagine how bittersweet it must be to watch your little one grow up 🙂 How cute that you are having a firetruck cake and how awesome that you took him to the Natural History Museum for his birthday, that is actually so clever, because that particular museum is such a cool thing for a child!
