Poncho: Theory | Sweater: H&M (new collection) | Denim: H&M | Shoes: Manolo Blahnik (similar option) | Bag: Celine (borrowed from Wendy)These photos were taken in Milan, which happened to be my first time in this beautiful city! When this trip was planned (several months ago), I never expected to not have access to my entire closet, but that turned out to be the case. As we wait for the house we’re moving into to be finished (painting, some renovations, etc…) we’ve been going from air b&b’s to our parents houses and apartments. If I’m being perfectly honest, what started out as a fun adventure has turned into being somewhat of a pain. Since all of my stuff is in storage, I’ve been wearing and rotating the same pieces with the addition of some new fall/winter pieces I’ve picked up along the way. With this European trip approaching and virtually no cold-weathered clothing, I took the opportunity to invest in some items I’ve been eyeing. The first piece, this oversized poncho/cape/scarf that is both glamorous and incredibly cozy. I used it as a blanket on the plane and then as a layering piece on this chilly morning. It’s a bit dramatic and I especially love that I can wear it several different ways!
