A couple of weeks ago, Keith and I had a staycation at one of my favorite hotels in the city, The Dream Downtown. If you’re looking for where to stay in NYC, my favorite part about the The Dream Downtown, aside from their pool, is that it’s the perfect mix of having a cool NYC vibe, while still feeling incredibly comfortable.We checked in, had a glass of wine at their bar and acted like complete tourists as we walked around the neighborhood before heading to dinner. The next morning, we agreed that it’s something we have to do way more often as we felt relaxed and rejuvenated.

Staycations like this are such a great idea, especially for a busy couple to reconnect. Its easy when at home to be distracted by all the home stuff, but when you check in to a hotel you just have each other. I'm inspired to find a hotel like this for me and the hubby.
