This outfit was mostly made up of pieces I've had in my closet for over a year. For some, that might not be too impressive, but I've been trying not to buy unnecessary pieces or any "dupes" of what I already have. The other day, I walked into Club Monaco and saw a gorgeous grey coat. I picked it up, tried it and thought to myself "oh! this is a must." As I was waiting on line to pay, I thought to myself "what the hell am I doing? I have an almost similar one home..." I walked out of the store, came home and took this coat out of my closet as a reminder to wear it.

I've aways loved playing with textures and as soon as I tried on this stunning pleated number from Parker, I knew I wanted to pair it with a leather jacket. The juxtaposition between the leather mixed with the gold pleats, keeps the look holiday ready, but slightly toned down.
