2eI came back from Melbourne a little over a week ago and it was a trip that will be embedded in my memory forever.  It’s one of those things where pictures cannot really do it justice, but a place you have to experience for yourself. The city is filled with so much life, color (with beautiful street art everywhere) such wonderful energy, and some of the most genuinely nice people I’ve ever come across. To the point where Susy (my best friend, who I was lucky enough to have with me) and I kept asking each other “how is everybody this nice?!”
But what stands out more than anything is the food and coffee. For me, the food is ranked up there with some of the best I’ve had in my entire life. For coffee, it was the best I’ve ever had, hands down. Bold statement, but it’s the serious truth! It’s gotten to a point where I’ve gone all the way to midtown, just to get my Aussie coffee fix, here in New York. Trust me, that’s way out of the way for this Brooklyn girl.

Since I’m on the topic of coffee, here were some of our favorite spots, but truth be told, we didn’t go to a single spot that actually disappointed:

*Brother Baba Budan
*Pellegrini’s (oldest coffee shop in Melbourne)
*Manchester Press
*Captains of Industry
*Little Mule

I’ll be sharing some more photos, my favorite restaurants and other bits in another post, so stay tuned for that. In the meantime, hope you enjoy these photos of beautiful Melbourne!

Also, wanted to give an enormous thanks to Tessa and Eloise for helping put together such an unforgettable trip and allowing me to really experience your beautiful city. I’ve fallen in love.
