Ever since I found out I was having a boy, I dreamed of Nate owning at least one toddler Burberry coat. I know that they grow out of things so quickly but for the time being, it is so damn adorable! And then there are the pictures! The pictures and memories alone make it worthwhile. There’s just something so classic and iconic about Burberry, especially on little children. Maybe it’s seeing the royal family always looking so regal in their outfits, but nonetheless, I’m a sucker for it.

When shopping luxury, Farfetch is one of my go-to’s because of its incredible selection. Importantly, it makes shopping so seamless and easy to navigate. From infant to toddler to teen, searching for the proper size is a breeze as well as selecting a specific designer to shop from. You can even shop by style, such as The Classic Boy, which is where I looked first and found myself eyeing an adorable tweed blazer and a great pair of baby leather lace up boots. Ultimately when I found this royal blue Burberry Kids duffle coat, I knew it would be that classic wardrobe addition to Nate’s closet that I’ve always imagined for him.

I’ve said it before, but I love when grown-up styles, like trenches and peacoats, are re-imagined for kids. Shopping becomes all the more fun when you can envision your child in a miniature style of an item that mimics your own. The only downside when shopping designer kidswear is that you can’t genuinely consider these items ‘timeless’ like you would an adult designer wardrobe, only because they grow out of it so fast! But nonetheless I’m planning to keep this Burberry Kids coat as an adorable and classic memento of Nate’s toddler years.

Thank you to Farfetch for partnering on this post!
