One of the best things about having a toddler is to be able to dress him in whatever I love, something that I’m holding on to for as long as I can. Truth be told, I didn’t think I’d have this much fun dressing a boy, but it really has been such a joy. Then there are instances like this one, where we’re able to coordinate accessories, like these iconic Converse All Stars.  When DSW asked what the heritage brand meant to me, it immediately took me back to Keith telling stories of his grandfather wearing Converse to play basketball and years later, his own father. It’s also one of the few pairs of sneakers that we both wore as children, wear now and many years later, buy for Nate. We had so much fun shooting these photos, especially since they represent so much more than a pair of sneakers.
