Tiffany

Maje Camel Belted Cape Coat

3_1e

Cape Coat: Maje | Denim: Topshop  | Turtleneck: Splendid |  Jewelry: Borrowed from Tiffany & Co | Lipstick: MAC Ruby Woo | Bag: Celine

This is the second time I got to work with Tiffany & Co  and it’s crazy how things come full circle. When I was 15 years old, I got my first real job, as a supermarket cashier. I made just $4.75 an hour, but I saved for months and months and at last I bought myself something I really wanted: a TIffany Heart Tag bracelet. It was the first real piece of Tiffany jewelry that I ever owned. To this day, I’m a big believer in treating yourself.

On another note, I wanted to ask you all for an honest opinion! Are you interested in me creating a few holiday gift guides or are you completely over seeing them?

I love capes. This one is stunning. I like this camel color…it looks beautiful on you <3

Tbh, I don't usually like gift guides of most bloggers. But I would want to see yours lol. You are much more genuine and real than other bloggers. Totally not hating on them btw 🙂

I agree – I don’t bother looking at other bloggers gift guides because they are all the same!! I would like to see yours though as you always have the best ideas out of the box.

I love that gorgeous camel cape style coat, it’s gorgeous and looks so lovely paired with that red bag! I’ve never owned a piece of Tiffany’s jewelry before, though it’s certainly a brand I’d love to add to my collection, those bracelets are beautiful! As for the gift guides, if you’ve come across any unique products, I’d definitely love if you’d share!

    Hi Helena

I would love it if you could do a gift guide of what to buy for guys! I’m so stuck for ideas of what to buy my husband this year! I have his main gift but would love some ideas for stocking fillers x x x

Great shots of Bk. I used to live right next door to Tiffany & Co on Wall Street and had to do everything I could not to shop. Packed up our place and are traveling now trying to find the next place to call home. 11 years in NYC is a lot. Love the look as always. Thanks http://www.busywifebusylife.com

I can definitely relate to saving up to buy something for yourself. Love this blog! I follow it religiously. You even inspired my to pull out my grey pea coat that has been hiding in my closet and now it is an essential piece of my wardrobe!

Can’t wait to see your holiday gift guide, hope you include affordable gifts for friends and the like.

KEEP THEM COMING!!!! I am at such a standstill when it comes to gifting this year…. absolutely appreciate the inspiration

  • CJ

I like the gift guides, they are fun reads. I like your taste so I’d be excited if you felt like doing one!

I love the story of your first Tiffany’s bracelet! Working hard and saving to treat yourself – what a beautiful legacy to share.

  • Rebecca

I do love gift guides — plus you got me hooked on retinol and so many other products. Would love to see one from you!
Also, I was the creepy girl who told you I loved your blog in Carroll Gardens this weekend – I couldn’t help it! You looked so adorable!

    Love the bag!

I always love your impeccable classic style! You have the uncanny ability to make even a simple piece remarkable. Another gorgeous post.

I wouldn’t mind seeing your gift guide so long as most items are around $30-$50. With so many gifts to buy at this time of the year, most people don’t spend more than that on each gift.

  • Adriana

Love the camel with the red together! Such a chic combo!

Gift guides are a bit done. BUT a guide to holiday outfits (work party/friend party/Christmas Day/Boxing/NYE) would be awesome!

  • Eni Abeni

I love your cape coat and red detail of your bag is perfect on that combo. Your Tiffany bracelet is amazing. Kisses,

Love the red lip and coat combination – looks great. So I know you don’t really do the fast fashion or ‘affordable fashion’ (in quotes because in the long run I am not sure if they are really worth even that low price tag) but would love to see a budget gift guide. I admire most of the stuff you put up but honestly, most of it isn’t in my budget.

How funny, my first job was as a cashier for an Associated Grocers in Jackson Heights when I was 15! I did not, however, buy a Tiffany bracelet. Ha ha… Your style is impeccable, Helena. Loving this whole combo and the jewelry is a great addition. I feel Gift Guides are overdone, but wouldn’t mind seeing yours. Have a great weekend!
