Todays post is a little different! I’ve been thinking about adding a FAQ’s portion to my ‘About Me’ section, but thought I’d take the opportunity to take it a step further. I wanted to ask you guys if there was any questions you wanted to ask me. Whether it’s technical, blog related, having to do with my pregnancy, or something that’s completely random, ask away! Leave me your questions in the comment section below, on my instagram or you can even email me with the title “my question for you.” I’ll try to answer all or as many as possible!

1. What are your tips for taking flattering photos? You always looked good but your photography has gotten great over the years! I always look like such a lump in photos and I can’t tell if it’s the angle or posture or just me…. 🙂
2. You have such a great mix of high- and low-end style – how do you decide what to splurge on and what to save on? Any more advice on budget or sale shopping would be awesome!
3. Do you mostly shop online or in-store? Which do you prefer?
Also, thank you for being one of the few bloggers left with professionalism, integrity, and true style. It’s been sad to watch personal blogs turn into advertorials, and I think you are one of the few bloggers (along with buynowbloglater) who strikes the right balance between making money and maintaining your original voice. I like that you don’t require click-throughs on Feedly and that you don’t accept sponsored posts that don’t fit with your lifestyle.

I have been an avid reader for years and am also NYC based. I know you do a good amount of ‘appearances’ for brand events. Would love it if you posted more of these ahead of time on the blog. Sometimes I notice that will post something with 24 hrs notice and I hardly ever have time to add it as a reminder to my calendar. I was able to go the SKII event you posted about this fall and enjoyed the event and education immensely. I used everything in my gift bag and loved it and have since invested in 2 of the products I loved most so thank you so much for that because it changed my skin. So part 2 of this is a request and not a question: but please feature nyc based events more that readers can attend, please 🙂
