Down by the Water

Took these photos at one of our favorite locations in Red Hook, Brooklyn. It's really pretty crazy to see just how much the Red Hook area has changed in the last 5-10 years. A neighborhood that was once considered to be on the sketchier side, now has certain streets with houses costing over a million dollars, if not more. "If only we invested in something 5 years ago..." If I had a nickel for every single time Keith and I muttered those words, we'd be millionaires.

  20. Helena, please tell me you rocked this little number on the fourth of July because this screams July 4th!!! And really, Red Hook is stepping it up. As a former Brooklyn girl ( Ft.Greene and Bayridge) you are right, I remember Red Hook being sketchy-ville. Surprised that the Real Estate is going for what you said it is.   43. Hindsight is always 20/20, right?! It's amazing how much a neighbourhood can change in 5-10 years. Your dress looks like the perfect piece to wear down by the water with its nautical blue and white stripes. The hat is a cute finishing touch!
