Very.com scarf ,Goldsign Jeans, L.K. Bennett Tote c/o (their flagship store opening in the Time Warner Center this summer), Louboutin Shoes, YSL Ring, HRH Collection Layered Necklaces.
Wore this last week for a few meetings with a pair of emergency flats thrown into my bag. Yes, I'm typically the girl that you can catch on a NYC corner changing from flats to heels and vice versa.
PS: I love tying a scarf to my handbag as a little added accessory and pop of color. Here I used my new spring scarf from Very.com.

When I was younger and lived at my parents' house there was a girl who lived next door and she ALWAYS wore pink. From head to toes al pink. Me and my sister used to call her Pink Lady. ReplyDeleteA fellow Brooklyn Blonde here...have to ask a question about the switch from flats to heels on the commute. I do the same and with skinnies or skirts/dresses its quick and easy and the outfit looks good with either one. Flares are another story as they are heel-length. Do you "tight-roll" your flares when wearing them with flats? If not, I find the rolls come undone and drag on the street. What's your fabulously chic solution Helena?

ReplyDelete@Elizabeth - When I change from heels to flats or vice versa and I have flare jeans on, it's definitely a bit of a challenge. I end up looking a bit silly rolling up my jeans for the few blocks that I walk. Or I'll pick a pair of wedges/platforms that I consider very comfortable, just so the jeans don't drag! I wish I had a better flared jeans/flats solution, but I'm in the same boat as you!
