There is no denying that New York gets some extremely hot and humid summers, humid being the key word here. Since there is little point to do anything with my hair in those type of weather conditions (unless I want to look like a poodle), I'll usually stick it in a high bun and I'm good to go.
Little Tip: comb deep conditioner through your hair right after the shower for all day conditioning. I do that most of the time when I wear my hair like this and usually keep it in for a day or two. My favorite is L'Oreal Natures Therapy, when I want something heavy duty.
